They have pioneered in Augusta, Georgia and Sanford, North Carolina with their four children. They came back in 2022 to join the church body and assumed the role of assistant in 2025.

They both count it a privilege and an honor to serve in the Spring Lake congregation where they were both saved and discipled.

Children’s Church Leader
Alvin Lumpkin

Alvin Lumpkin and his wife, Pam, have served at Victory Chapel since 2001.  Nine years after making Jesus Christ the center of their lives, they felt the call to children's ministry.  Using the foundational scripture, "Train a child up in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it."  (Proverbs 22:6) Alvin and Pam began to develop a children's ministry that focused on knowing the Bible and using God’s truth to spread the Gospel to the world.  Through evangelism events, Bible verse challenges, and Easter and Christmas Plays, the children at Victory Chapel have learned to obey the Lord and find joy in Jesus Christ's great commission, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature."

Outreach Director
Ulysses Tillis

Ulysses and his wife, Asherah, have served at Victory Chapel faithfully since 2019. Ulysses recently served in the Army at Fort Liberty as a mechanic. Ulysses and Asherah are a testimony to the power of Jesus to restore the prodigal. Together, with their six children, they set an example by leading the outreach ministry with the goal of winning men and women to Christ.
